THE INFLUENCE OF TEACHER COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN THE TEACHING AND LEARNING PROCESS ON SOCIAL STUDIES LEARNING OUTCOMES OF CLASS V STUDENTS OF THE SIMALUNGUN STATE SPECIAL SCHOOL (SLB)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh keterampilan komunikasi guru terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Negeri Simalungun Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan komunikasi guru (X) dan hasil belajar IPS (Y). Penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS Versi 21.0 untuk menganalisis uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji linieritas, uji analisis regresi linier sederhana dan uji koefisien determinasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 23 orang. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa uji determinasi R2 sebesar 0,074 atau 7,4% dan sisanya 92,6% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara keterampilan komunikasi guru dalam proses belajar mengajar terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SLB Negeri Simalungun Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023.
